Nana's Birthday Party

With the help of his two pals, Kaiser the Bengal throws a surprise birthday party for his best buddy, Nana the Border Collie.
***No chocolate was consumed by any of the animals (any brown that you see on the treats is carob, a substance that looks like chocolate but is completely safe for dogs). All of the goodies are 100% dog-friendly; they are designed to look like human desserts but are made specifically for dogs' consumption. Viggo wasn't able to eat any of the goodies however (they are great for dogs, but not for ferrets), so he was treated with a plate of cooked chicken instead.
All animals are taught exclusively with positive reinforcement and the clicker.
Happy 5th Birthday, Nana!! Nana the Border Collie turned five years old on June 3rd. She has come so far since the day I brought her home as a puppy, and I can't imagine my life without her. She is such a sweet, loving friend; she makes me smile and laugh every day. I love Nana beyond description and am so proud to have her in my life.

I love this. When you think about it, thousands of animals every day are abused by their owners. When I watch this video, it makes me so happy to see someone treating their pets well. It is clear that you love all of your animals dearly, and they love you. Great video.

I really love the way all your pets act. My favorite is Nana. I had a Border Collie and she passed away in July 2012. She was 14 years old and had a real good life. I still feel her spirit. So it is lovely to see your dear Nana. She remembers me of Zohra and that is good. :)

Viggo was my first ferret who passed away from lymphoma, and Sebastian was my second ferret. He was no "replacement" for Viggo. One can never, ever replace an animal. They are unique and special with their own personalities, quirks, antics, and traits that can never be replicated. That is part of what is so difficult about losing them - knowing that there will never be another like them.
