Mahito being able to transfigure you with a simple touch is so OP. Dude is a walking, talking insta-kill plague upon this world. But I'm sure our boy Nanami can give as good as he gets. The highlight of this episode for me is how appealing Mahito's twisted logic can be when you are truly indifferent and empathize with Junpei. It's extremely well executed manipulation imo.

Yes, it’s indeed Nanami’s technique and not just him doing that voluntarily. It’s kind of a pact that he can’t work at maximum strength until overtime but if the threshold is exceeded, he’ll go into overdrive and his cursed energy will shoot up even further. Nanami as a character is just so relatable. And his VA is so incredibly good with that sexy ass voice lmao. 16:44 It’s actually nice to see that Gojo realised Yuji was feeling alone not being able to be with his friends so he pretended to act like Nobara in order to cheer up his student even if a little bit. Keep up the good work!

Since they explained that sorcerers a grade below the curses can typically deal with them, the concept of Gojo and Sukuna being special grade sorcerers is wild. so strong they outpace the concept of the strongest curses

Yeah, Mahito's technique might be a bit confusing, but basicly he can alter people's bodies to whatever shape he wants just by touching them, and he also can change his own body, pretty bizarre like when he transformed his legs in goats legs, that's only one possibility of shape. What Mahito was saying is that the soul comes first than the body, the body only follows wherever the soul goes, and Mahito has the power of controlling the shape of the souls of everybody, and when he changes the shape of the soul to whatever form he wants the body follows it. Mahito uses that not only for attack, but also to regenerate himself, if his body is damaged he just maintain his soul's shape where he was hurt and the body follows the soul, regenerating him. It's a very interesting way of healing that only Mahito can do with his Idle Transfiguration, sorcerers have to use other very rare technique that I bellieve will be explained later.

So as someone else in the comments said I think you'd really like an anime called Undead Unluck. It's such a unique take on a shonen and it absolutely is a fun watch. Nanami has a binding vow with himself, binding vows basically are a vow you place on yourself that will grant you something in exchange of something else, binding vows can also be placed upon others but that's more complicated. What his binding vow does is that it limits Nanami's energy to 80%, though on Overtime it grows to 120%.
