Lille holy forms are based on either a Seraphim (the highest ranking of angels with multiple wings), a Cherubim (which is a like a Chimera, Centaur, Angel with 4 heads, 1 being a Eagle head) or that a famous angel painting with a weird bird like face (IMO its a mix of all 3). Whichever the case Lillie is meant to be a bastardize version of an Angel.

You also see the angel theme with his final attack which is a reference to the seven trumpets that are sounded to cue apocalypse (which this battle is the apocalypse of the 3 worlds in Bleach).
