Love your chatting nana, don’t listen to the haters. You remind me of my nana who passed on many years ago. Your grandkids are so lucky to still have you..... keep doing what you are doing.

Nana, we need voices like yours in this world: gentle, positive, encouraging and authentic. Responding to the neagtive comment w humor was so refresging - and very much like you. Your recipes are great too! So happy to fear that your husband (Dan?) is feeling better. Here's to an healthier, happier year for you and yours.

A very happy birthday to you. It is so true that the years all of a sudden are upon us. I have my 65th this month and still feel the same to the point that it still surprises me that I am a senior citizen. LOL. I told a young person that and their response was "oh come on!" They will see one day. And I throughly enjoy your talking.

I'm so happy your husband is feeling better. I know the feeling of losing interest in cooking when no one appreciates it. I live with my grandmotherand she is really ungrateful thowards me and my cooking (and generally everything i do for her on a day to day basis) and it shows. By now i cook and bake the same stuff all the time, I don't enjoy cooking anymore really. It's a shame... but seeing your new videos made me really happy.

I have been enjoying your videos this past week (not sure how I discovered your channel). I love talking to "old" people. They're so full of wisdom and things from simpler happier times (yes they were hard times but they did what they needed without complaining). I hope you enjoyed your birthday and that your husband would continue to feel better.

So glad to hear that your husband's health is improving! Happy 80th Birthday to you!!!! Thank You so much for doing this videos and adding different tips as you go!!! How kind of you to take treats to people in treatment. I'd love to know where you bought that container to sprinkle the Confectioner's Sugar!!! Merry Christmas to you and your Family!!!

I don't remember where I got it Leslie. I've had it for many years. The advantage is that the plastic cover keeps the 10 x from clumping between uses. With my old one I used to put saran wrap with a rubber band. to accomplish the same thing.

Mitchell- Novak , hi, you can copy the recipe from the video notes above. I think her grandson, Tom, started putting the recipes in there. If I’m viewing from a browser, I can select the recipe text and copy and paste it to the note app, or a word processing program. If I’m viewing from the KZbin app, I’m unable to select the recipe text. I love having Nana’s recipes on hand! Thanks, Mrs. Donahue and Tom for sharing!
