Hey scorpuz, i need to ask, is there some like minor slice of life moments in this game where you just wander around cities, conversing with npcs, going to a bar, visiting a brothel, drinking sake, eating some japanese cuisine, visiting a blacksmith, buying different outfits from a clothing store and hiring the services to make you a weapon at the same time allowing you to customize that weapon. I played the demo and outside of combat, there is really nothing else to do. I just need some clarificarion to help me decide on buying this game now or wait for a major sale for this game. Despite some floaty and janky animations, the game's combat and weapon loot system is solid.

I'm not sure how much you can play in the demo, but in the full game you can interact with npcs through missions. There are bond missions, grass roots missions (more like side quests), and the main missions which are Pro-Shogun or Anti-Shogun you can acquire items and gear through these missions. Random encounters are also there. Bond missions are npc specific missions where you can improve your bond and level up your combat styles and also acquire good items, it is also introduce romance options to some characters.

There is Gliding Training, Firearm Training, Horseback Archery, and then there is the dojo where you can fight the easiest to the most nastiest boss you encounter, earn gear and improve bond by beating them. 😁 Weapon customization you can do with a blacksmith once you reach a specific part in the story can't remember it though, maybe chapter 3 you will be able to do blacksmithing on your own. You can customize item stats using bond transfer. 👍

End game i would say playing midnight, new item quality available and best set bonuses this is where you can create a character build and put your skills to the test. There will be a new mission mode Ally Missions (crazy difficult). The story is what we know is based in the history during the Bakumatsu period, to be honest i don't really like the main character but the supporting characters are. The combat is top-notch and i believe is the main reason why it's crazy fun and addicting 😊
