I agree with you entirely about how funny it is that everything seems to just come so naturally to Nancy - if someone tasked me with cleaning and cooking for an entire lodge of guests all the while investigating a mystery, ALSO while besieged by wolves and being pelted with ice and being locked into saunas, I think I'd go apoplectic. Avalanche survival tips: 1) hang on to solid objects like trees or rocks to avoid being swept away. If you can't, try to "swim" your way to the edge of the avalanche line while staying near the top. Keep your mouth clenched to avoid having snow shoved into it by the force. 2) As the flow slows, but before it stops, try to get as close to the surface as you can. That is, personally, my favorite part of the ND series. Somehow it's the first game of ND that I played in childhood. All these snow blankets, Alberta's mountains, mysterious wolf, also the cooking part - as a child I felt soo comfy playing this. That's why I couldn't wait to see how Gab would play this.
