GENDER EQUALITY???????? The men's game plays out a "twice the speed" of any women's game. The women cannot play any faster ...so are the men supposed to slow down to 1/2 speed ....for the one purpose of playing "EQUALLY"? After all, this IS A UNION COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. These women get over $200,000 per game?????? DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THIS KIND OF MONEY. And then there is the "play-making" skill. The men always show/demonstrate multiple-move plays all over the field where the women have very rare two or three moves at any given time ...simply because they don't have the collective speed. And of course there is the ball skills. There is NOTHING that even comes close to being "equal". The guys are simply off the charts when comparing the two (male/female) games. And I can't help but note this game, USWNT vs A a U15 boys team game ...."FOR FUN", which the USWNT lost. The media coverage of this game has been SQUELCHED ....OF COURSE IT HAS!!! It is people like Rapinoe and Hope Solo, who just have a very hard time accepting the fact that they will NEVER play any soccer game to any men's level (unless the men are 65 or 70 years old) .....and also keep their mouths under control. They finally had enough of Solo's mouth (aka ARROGANCE) and found it easier to operate by firing her. Arrogance in any sport does not sit well with anyone including teammates and fans. People like Rapinoe have to accept the fact that any men's game is going to played at a far higher level than any women's game can possibly be played. THE DIFFERENCE IS DUE TO GENDER INEQUALITY .....AS AND WHEN BORN. If Rapinoe wants to play like a man, then she is going to have to take "TRANSGENDERING DRUGS" .....AFTERWHICH SHE IS GOING TO HAVE TO DO A HELL OF A LOT OF POWER-TRAINING TO GET HER BODY TO GROW TO A MAN'S BODY MASS.

This isn't just about "supply and demand" like many commenters here are saying. The men's team does not get paid benefits, they only get their pay-to-play salary and bonuses on performance. The women wanted more stability, so they got full benefits (fantastic benefit actually), plus a smaller salary in the pay-to-play format. These benefits are a huge amount of monetary cost to the national team. Also, something to note, Megan Rapinoe blatantly, flat out lied at 2:30 saying they were laughed out of the room when asked to get paid what men get paid. They literally turned down the exact same offer that the men had, for this offer of benefits and salary. The womans team did not want equal pay in their lawsuit. Not even close. They wanted everything the Men's team got, plus the additional benefits on top. They wanted MORE then what the Men's team has. All of this is factual and can be very easily verified.
