@@johnnyreb2360 I was there - born in '48 I got just about everything the era had to offer and now I can look back and tell myself "You lucky bastard you - what a life you were offered". My only concern now is did I remember to enjoy it enough? I'm not sure but I don't know what I could have done to enjoy it more so I probably did

The album 'NANCY & LEE" was so well done in so many different ways. The tragedy (to me) is that Lee Hazelwood died without ever receiving the recognition he so richly deserved for a catalogue of music that spanned 35+ years.. Not only did he write & produce almost all of Nancy's music, I believe he managed her for quite a while. One could fairly say he was the reason for her musical success. Also, it should be know that he discovered Duane Eddy, wrote and produced many of his early hits. R.I.P. Lee.

I was in grade school when my parents played this album, but I was hopelessly in love with Lee Hazelwood. That deep resounding voice, dark eyes & moustache made a deep impression on me. I loved the strings & horns in the arrangement of the song. They do not make them like this man anymore.
