Yes, still I think Hephaestion might have been emotional because his friend/companion was getting married for the first time and was planning to beget a child, not necessarily because he thought he would love his wife more, or at least that's apparently what they intended to portray in the film. According to all sources, it was evident that Alexander loved Hephaestion more than anyone else, and certainly far more than any of his wives and concubines
