Math is a subject that stresses people out and your combination of calmness while explaining math in an easy way is perfect! Normally I need rewatch a math video 10x before I understand the concept, but with your video I barely need to rewatch them more than once. Please keep making more videos on college algebra and calculus. These free videos will pay you back. From here on out you can start your business by selling your content to schools.

You're an excellent teacher. I have watched a dozen introductions to limits and none of them made any effort to give an overview of what the math is doing, explain their terms or explain what was happening. They just launch into math as if the viewer is supposed to know everything already (That's not an introduction). Thanks for this. It shows real intelligence and forethought.

1) Your videos are amazing; I teach high school math and use them to brush up on skills for which I’m a little rusty. 2) Problem #4 you used expansion, but factoring would also work as the numerator (x+2)^2 - 4 is a difference of squares. Didn’t read all the other comments, sorry if it’s already been pointed out.
@patricedolenz49423 жыл бұрын
Since both methods work, it's a great opportunity to illustrate to students that there may be mroe than one correct way to solve a problem. My response to "that's not the way my teacher did it" has sometimes become "that's OK, as long as we both used correct math." LOL. BTW, agree on videos being excellent. I like the way she introduces a procedural process for dealing with limits.
