Grey piece when sewn to bottom of star leg unit = 3 1/2" (same height as red center square) x same length as corner HST units.

I love your tutorials but it would be great if you used pre-cut fabrics, much easier to make up the blocks

Tadi3a This quilt block is great, gives us all the exact measurements to cut, sew and complete. Not everyone can afford precuts, so this is a good one to use with yardage and scraps.

True that precuts are more expensive. I wait for sales or save up extras. It would be nice to have the option of using them. Anyone out there good at math to figure it out.
