Taking into account the balanced profile of this tea, as well as its fair price, I think it makes a splendid "everyday" drinking tea - or at least one that I can enjoy while doing some other task like working or reading. It doesn't crave your whole attention, but still has plenty of character to keep you entertained and wanting to drink some more.

Dang, I missed it yesterday ... rather excellent audio quality Sir! I hope you play something on the guitar at the end, or if not, then for sure the next time! It's impressed how attentive you sip and how you can articulate what you taste. Have to drink the tea today too. Btw, it didn't really made it on the final list, but it was almost at the first place for replacing other teas with a similar profile, like the wild 07 Xiaguan, if we were not been able to get that for some reason - what means not at all that the tea isn't good, it was much rather one of the unexpected surprises and really delivers a teasession of it's own.

Thank you, I really appreciate your kind words. That old music recording equipment is certainly coming in handy here :^) That 07 Xiaguan is also an interesting one. I recently had my first session with it and the overall profile was a bit different from the norm, to say the least. I think that tea may actually be one where I would've preferred stronger storage, though it was still interesting as is.

@@guydrinkstea We wanna see the Lobster rock! We wanna see the Lobster rock again! PS: I care about your thoughts regarding the wild 07 Xiaguan ... why would you prefer a "stronger" storage in that case? PPS: Do you know that the wetter the storage, the more it decreases the power of a tea over time?

@@G-K-X From my admittedly very limited experience with Yesheng, I've found the younger ones to often have a slightly metallic and sour note. But the ones with heavier storage that I've had lose that note and often end up having a really nice stewed fruit flavour, almost like some kind of jam. I did not know that, no! But admittedly, I don't usually get much in terms of qi/body feel from most teas. That's also why I usually avoid talking about these things when I review a tea unless it really hits hard.
