In this tutorial we are going to create a simple Nano Iwagumi layout using only 1 plant Micranthemum Callitrichoides aka “HC Cuba or Dwarf Baby Tears” for short. Most of my tanks tend to have wood and stone in them; but my inspiration for this tank comes from a video posted by @BucePlant While watching their video it made me feel as if I was looking up at a mountain; so I wanted to try and mimic that.
I will be using the “Dark Start Method“ here to get through the beginning stages- where high amounts of nutrients are being released from the soil. That means less water changes and plants are able to adapt faster. This method is more beneficial to sensitive plants like HC cuba, which is why I chose to go this route. There are more benefits to using this method, but we’ll save that for another video.
I’m beyond pleased with how it came out-
Hope you enjoy the video!
