The Nanowar's "problem" is they are too clever and good for mainstream music... I love their irony. Listening their songs is always like opening unespected Christmas gifts: a lot of surprises and stuffs inside. Go on! P. S. Viking Christmas, of course... 🤣🤣🤣

After listening Italian Folk Metal on repeat these days I want to say I absolutely adore the composing and instrumentation of the album. I laughed at the imagination of a choir singing Gigi Sabani seriously, and who doesn’t understand the spirit of “oleoleoleoleoleoleole”? Even the language barrier can’t stop me from laughing! Fantastic album!

Growing up in Serbia, a local TV station would show Italian satellite TV outside of their own programming. Topo Gigio played a part in my childhood as well, that creepy little bastard rules Europe. There was also a soccer anime where the ball turns into a tiger or a hawk or something, and I never knew the name of it. Dopest shit I've ever seen.

The concept of the album is totally right. I love folk, metal or not, but each place has its own folk music and i want to know how it is! not generic celtic or scandinavian. So even if i don't get all the jokes as spaniard, this album is freakin enjoyable :D PS: After Topogiggio, Mr. Bini and Eiffel 65, i'm only missing Alexia here or something XD

You guys enjoyed Whitechapel's song "When A Demon Defiles A Witch" a lot. You seemingly liked how the song started with acoustic guitar and ended with the very same thing. Their self titled album starts with the song "Make It Bleed" (best song on the album) and it starts with a great melody. The last song on the album "Possibilities of An Impossible Existence" (2nd best song on the album) ENDS with the very same melody that Make It Bleed starts with. I encourage you to check the album out, it's amazing! Cheers!

So far this year this has definitely been my most favorite album but i have to say though since they have the german version of La Maledizione di Capitan Findus they need have an english version just to make it full circle considering Birdseye/iglo/findus are the same mascot lol.
