And also add one more point to this is that NEVER appoint a civil Engineer shown by your ( close/friend) Contractor, even if your Contractor highly recommends,appraises him because of following reasons 1. Appointed Engineer will never point out Contractors mistakes. 2. Engineer will show 1.5 to 2 feet depth beams in the slab in the drawing, but Contractor put only 1 feet depth beams, and in the billing Engineer show 1.5/ 2 feet beam. All mutual understanding between Contractor and engineer 3. Don't believe in anybody so easily, unless you know the subject So appoint your own known Engineer of your family/friends

More suggestion 1.avoid falsa ceiling 2.put extra point every where. 3.make provision for concealed pipes,wiring in the ceiling at the type RCC . Put 2 inch with spring at all point. Never comod make extra connection of pipe line. For all door framing make upvc framing and it can covered with teak vieners and it can polished.

1)Dont bargain too much with shop keepers when you know their price is reasonable, when you bargain with them then they dont have any option other than selling cheap quality materials as it discourage them. You get what you paid for. 2)Cover edges and bottom of your gate with polycarbonate/plastic sheets to prevent from rats entering and roadside dust coming inside your home because you will have slope from parking to road which makes easy for dust to come inside. 3)Spend on interiors rather than exteriors. 4)Tell tiles fitter to cut tiles 45° in corner joint rather than 90° joint , this makes joints look jointess. 5)Plan interior ceiling design with your engineer before RCC itself so that you can avoid expensive false ceiling. 6) Marble sheets are good but fades when natural sunlight false on them.
