She produces sweet, lush beautiful sounds everywhere, even in the Etudes. Her Nocturne, Mazurka and Scherzo are just what you would expect from Chopin. And her Mazurka is probably the most musical you'll hear at this competition. You can tell Chopin is her favorite composer.
Even the first note that she played was absolutely beautiful, I fell in love in the first minute.

At first sight I do not like her somehow stiff fingers and wrists, but her performance style grows on me. It's real strength, no the same thing as stiffness.

Who won didn't really matter. It's a matter of preference of interpretation. I personally did not prefer the winner's playing either, some Korean dude. But hey, the ability to compete in such a competition itself is already a respectable accolade.
