my girls are now 20 and 22. When their periods started, I celebrated with them and brought them red gifts. A women's circle is a powerful place to share

So glad talk of menopause has become open and normalised , from the minimal information of ‘she’s going through the change’ or ‘she’s gone funny’ that I used to hear about women was I was growing up x

I started bleeding at Christmas ( I'm 54, started Menopause at 46) I'm also on HRT. The male Dr I saw, folded his arms, got defensive, and basically did not know what to say,... Just told me to 'see how it goes if I lower my progesterone'... Pathetic.

Thanks for this episode, I am 58 and post menopausal, live in Spain, where we are still in the dark ages regarding menopause. I have just purchased the book on Amazon and I am really looking forward to reading it. ❤

beautiful contribution ladies, thank you both. I collect my blood using the moon cup and give it back to the earth each month. I honour the time as a cleansing time , not everyone is lucky to have a pain free time like me I know

Nothing more frustrating than hearing someone sailed through it! Or dunno what I’m on about. Gets lonely

I wonder if it is because your generation was like “we don’t need any feminism, we are already free”. Or because - like you said in the blog, you have been looking mostly in direction US. But even US feminists have been covering that topic. I have been reading a lot about Menopause. Books, articles. I don’t know why this seems so absolutely new to some.
