I wear concealer just to cover up my bad skin because it’s the one thing I’m most insecure about and when I leave the house with it on I feel half decent but then someone gives me a look and says “are you wearing makeup 🤨” and it just bums be out cause it’s as if I’m not allowed to feel good about myself 😕I’ve tried getting good skin for like 5 years now. I loved TLC but I think this is the best version of "unpretty" ever. The West Side Story verses are perfectly introduced. And the scene in the show was executed amazingly. It's about self doubt, how people will always think there is someone prettier or better than them for some reason. Rachel doesn't think she is as pretty as Quinn, and Quinn has self doubts just like everyone else. That's why this song is so relatable, in my opinion.
