Saltwater Taffy is a popular “old fashioned” candy with tons of flavors, it’s supposed to be soft and very sticky… if you ever come to the States you can probably get it fresh from any boardwalk touristy town on the East Coast or Great Lakes! It’s also hypnotic to watch it get made. I was trying to come up with something it would be like but we use “taffy” over here to describe things that are soft and sticky 😅. The gushers also sounded pretty old, they are supposed to have a gummy texture not quite as chewy as Haribo but similar, and each one should have the liquid in it. Then non-Enchilada ones were common lunchbox treats in the 90s.

Hi Naomi! Latina subscriber here! Gushers enchilados are popular candy to eat but usually we just eat them one by one with our fingers not in big chunks like that. For the Taffy Naomi, it's sometimes hard, but are usually soft, as if they've been melted. But don't be freaked out about it, whenever I've had them, they were almost always rock solid. And Gushers are very similar to fruit roll ups, they should always have a juice when you bite them. It's pronounced G-uh-shers (I tried hard with spelling it out, don't judge me.) Hope any of this at all helped 😊❤

You gotta try more taffy but regular fruit flavors. Original salt water taffy is the best and it can harden if it gets cold but you can soften it with your hands while in the wrapper so that you don't chip a tooth 😅 You have me really curious about German pickles 🤔
