@kamikazekrush37585 жыл бұрын
Screaming growl vocals are not setting yourself apart, the band is great, but if it really wants to separate itself, try singing the whole song, why are modern metal fans so conditioned to take whatever there fed, a simple example, Slayer did not sound like Metallica, Metallica did not sound like Anthrax, Anthrax did not sound like Megadeth, Megadeth did not sound like Testament, Testament did not sound like Overkill, Overkill did not sound like Kreator etc etc etc... especially not vocally, why the hell does every metal band now sing a line and then scream the same line afterwards in the background, doesn't anybody get bored of this?

Just got this vid in my inbox, and have watched it 6 times in an hour......I think this new album (Macro) is their "VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER" , A total game changer....Jinjer will and is the premiere metal band that will take us true metal fans well into the 2020's. The vid itself is well produced, and I agree with what Whiterun Gaurd posted: whoever mixed, enginered, and recorded this does deserve a pat on the back....Jinjer is blowing up and within a yr. they are going to be headlining BIG PLACES...they are selling out all the theatere's they play, it's time for their booking agent to step up the size of the rooms they're currently playing...I can't wait till they come to the northeast (ct.) they have a huge fanbase here in Ct. , and would easily sellout any of are sheds or indoor venues. Anyway, Jinjer fucking rocks, and screw all the haters saying that they got soft on this new record, and I say bullshit...listen to Macro at top volume and you'll hear that they just got better as song writers..bands that stagnate simply fall off the rock-and-roll radar...but not Jinjer, they reignited the metal scene and within a few yrs. we'll start seeing Jinjer clones....but keep rocking Jinjer, and the peeps in Ct. got your back and YOU WILL SELL OUT IF YOU COME TO CT. WE'RE STARVING FOR GOOD METAL TO PLAY OUR STATE, CAUSE SOO MANY BAND JUST BY-PASS US. GO JINJER AND TATAI, KEEP GETTING THOSE TATTS...THEY LOOK KILLER....PEACE FROM THE NORTHEAST....

She's got special skills. She can sing a lot of different styles (even if reggae makes me shit) and she's able to find great vocals harmony like on Micro. Yes, there are tons of ordinary female singer, even in metal but personally, for 4 years, i see a great singer, absolutely. Listen to all the albums and not Macro (which is probably the worst Jinjer singer job). Sometimes, on fans' page, i have the impression to be among teenagers.....

@@hawke9344 No problem, it's ok. It's not a serious topic for me, with all the bullshits i read here. am i on Dysney Channel? Jinjer is a very good band but they've made better records in the past. I'm just deceived.... Micro is so full of promise.

"This is a song that can be applied to each of us in the band. Living a life at a full pace after years of touring, have we accidently let someone else in our heads and become foreigners to ourselves? Holding on to the hope that we can keep those doors shut ..." - Eugene / Jinjer Thanks for the music. Here's a novel idea: don't do that. Express yourself at your own pace.
