Kamelot introduced me to Symphonic metal when years ago I saw March of mephisto. They have remained in my top favorite bands of all time. I've seen Kamelot twice and Delain twice and all of the concerts were top notch. Charlotte and Tommy's voices blend so well. I hope they do more together.

Kamelot basically enlists guests from bands that they tour with pretty regularly. Back in the day they toured with Epica which led them to have Simone Simons on their albums, and Coen Jenssen filled in for them live a few times. In 2011 they toured with The Agonist and Amaranthe on separate tours, so Alissa White-Gluz (who sang for The Agonist before Arch Enemy) and Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) would have guest appearances on their albums. In 2013 they toured with Delain so Charlotte Wessels sang with them on Haven.

Netherlands tried to send Sharon den Adel a few times but she was only judge in 2018. But definatley we need more metal bands there. Also song contest where all metal styles would be

@@darkomaric3000 I'm aware of the few times rock came on eurovision yea. Germany also wanted to send avantasia once but they got beaten out by an emo girl... Metal eurovision would be great though, metal is much less commercialized and won't be ruined by politics. Plus it's much more diverse music. Just an incentive for bands to write great songs specifically for a fun event with audience participation or just to promote new albums with a live performance before release would be really damn cool
