Could you still want me when you don't know what you might find? Behind this shattered lens I see the world through Coloring my thoughts, distorting my view If I let you see what's broken inside of me Could you still love me with a splintered mind? Sometimes I get so stuck in my head Sometimes I can't get out of my bed This is just a side effect You know I really want to connect It's cracked and it's scarred But I would, would give you my heart Could you still love me with a splintered mind? I already said this on Instagram, but I want to say this here: Thank you so much for making this song. I relate to the lyrics a lot, hearing the things I’ve been trying to deal with in a song is just so moving. I worry a lot that because of my anxiety disorder and the behaviours that are as a direct result of something that happened to me in the past, I will not be able to get close to anyone. I worry that my friends don’t love me because of the baggage I come with. I worry that my future girlfriend will leave me when I reveal too much of myself. This song I know will help in processing these feelings. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for making this song. ❤️

I don't think the song was written for that situation but it reminds me so much of my grandparents. My grandmother had a severe case of dementia coupled with other illnesses that made her dependent on care 24/7. The way my grandfather provided and cared for her even though he himself was not physically well showed how much he truely loved her. On the wake after his death she did not even realize her husband of over five decades was not at her side anymore and that was truely heartbreaking.

What a beautiful sad song. Close to home, for everyone, who had someone in their life, that slowly lost their mind. I miss my grandpa so much, even when it's 17 years soon and the last years he was not himself anymore. His mind was splintered indeed. I'm in tears...

The first time I listened I liked the song because it sounds beautiful. After listening to it a few more times and paying attention to the lyrics, I love it more. I really feel like it's speaking about mental illness and so much fits with my struggle with depression and anxiety and relationships. Especially "behind this shattered lens I see the world through, colouring my thoughts, distorting my view" rang true - my therapist once told me generalised anxiety disorder means I see the world through the opposite of rose tinted glasses. Amazing lyrics, stunning sound.

Lord of the Lost is up there as one of my favourite bands. I used to be a huge metalhead loving Equilibrium, Nightwish, Summoning, Cradle and the like, still love all of them but in recent years I became more into Tom Waits and Ween, sort of the eclectic nature, Lord is like the perfect mix for me, they are so ungodly versatile. Compare this jazzy ballad with the death metal of Ruins, the rock-like Morgana or In Silence which gives me the same vibe as black metal even though it sounds legit nothing like black metal, you'd think they all came from different bands. Thanks for the music. You guys rock!

Lord of the lost - потрясающая группа, любящая эксперименты, разнообразное звучание.

Another great work together with Joy Frost. It kinda feels like I've already heard so much about her, so I can't wait to actually hear her voice when the album comes out. As far as we all are part of society, the fear of being rejected is kinda belongs to primal ones. No matter if the authors are sharing their personal experience or if it's just a story, that came to their minds, it feels very real. Great storytelling as usual. And music just brings the whole peace to the whole new level of beauty. Already can't imagine the level of the album's awesomeness♥️
