Eh to some degree bullying will never stop. Males do it at an age when they're sexually maturing to show dominance over other boys and appear as Alphas to females who are also sexually maturing and start wearing makeup and putting down other girls to make themselves more attractive. It's just how it is. Now can it go too far? Yes. And IMO that's when PARENTS need to step in and take action. But instead a lot of the parents blame the school, or television, or violent video games, or the Internet, or social media, etc. etc. And in case someone misreads, I am NOT endorsing bullying. I don't agree with it whatsoever, I'm just saying it's probably going to be impossible to stop. And funny we always talk about bullying in the context of males... female bullying is BY FAR some of the worst I've seen. Completely cast out from social activities, ignored, rumors are spread (and guys believe it because "Let's get on her side so maybe we can score"), social media harassment, manipulation, and even enticing other guys to sexually assault other women... it's DISGUSTING. Pedro is a great connection character and a positive sphere of influence throughout this film - all the characters love him (except for the bully, the duche principal, Summer - most like his positive way). What he did was completely unconventional BUT RIGHT AND FULLY JUSTIFIED - no one else could clean up the bullies, he provided fare warning through his protection program, then his cousins associated with the campaign came with the promise of retaliatory force if the bully wouldn’t stop. I realize that people shouldn’t just go around like a pack of lunatics and crazies making threats against anyone or any particular group or entity simply because they have some sort of a beef with them. I’m not in anyway promoting street justice or any sort of back-alley trial - but when a terrible and unrelenting bully continues to attack innocent people who are totally vulnerable and unprotected, under such circumstances action is called for at the most immediate order with a fare warning provided. I have loved this film since I was a kid (about 16), Pedro and Napoleon and their nerd circle proved to be a very positive example to follow: total nerd 🤓 right here brother! 👍✌️🤓👌🖖🏻👋
