As a History buff of course I'm picking out historical inaccuracies like Napoleon participating in a Calvary charge (He was a artillery commander) and the Battle of the Pyramids taking place so close to the actual Pyramids but you have to expect most historical films to take creative Liberties for the sake of entertainment. I really like Scott as a director so I'll let it slide.

Film looks amazingly executed! I get the vibes that Ridley Scott's Commodus from Gladiator reincarnated to be Napoleon and became yet again a powerful villain almost taking over the world as his previous past life as Julius Caesar would've wanted. 😅

So you have never heard about the French Revolution and Marie Antoinette? Sorry for sounding arrogant, but that is something one HAS to know. I recognized her right at the spot in connection with the date on the screen. You, on the other hand, looked surprised at the execution on the screen. I'm not a history expert, but: Those were world changing events that are still influencing us today. This is general common knowledge. I'm recommending to watch one of the countless documentaries about that subject here on KZbin. But at least you know many details about Napoleon. That is by far more, than some other reactors knew about the subject of this trailer.

sorry to tell, but there is a big chance the decapitation is not Marie Antoinette, Napoleon never witnessed that, and can be rather some random aristocrate as the cleansing was going on still then. why i think so is Marie Antoinette is well described her hair was cut short during the execution. and it seems the movie makers also perfectly know this by having Josephine introduced in the trailer she's at a party, dressed up with sorht hair and a red line around her neck, that is what french women of nobility actually did on parties to express their solidarity for her execution. this reinforce me to think very strongly the lady at the beginning is not the queen

Apple's Foundation is indeed awful, but almost every terrible thing you find in it is something they changed from the books or made uo anew completely.. But e.g. "For All Mankind", a true original show, is excellent

You’d be surprised at how good Apple’s shows are on average. Most people have only ever heard of the most popular ones, but they have excellent hidden gems as well. My all-time favorite is For All Mankind. It’s an alt-history drama that’s built on the principle that the Russians were the first to land on the moon and that the space race never ended. It takes a few episodes to get going, but once it does, it turns into an amazing character-driven show with sublime writing, engrossing personal drama and crazy political and international stakes. The second season finale is probably the best hour of television I’ve ever seen.

Napoleon is my favorite historical character because he is a mix between Madara and Itachi the most badass person in history they did not hesitate to kill if we prevent him from realizing it's idea without him there would always be slaves always slaves noble and bourgeois with social class Napoleon was against the rule that children inherit a country just because he was a prince for him had to be competent broken all his in France and in Europe and indirectly in the world it is for its that he is hated by many people at the time even today there is a lot of propaganda to jump it's idea of freedom he created so many things like school for all children hospitals for everyone the right to choose a job because we have talent or skills before we could not a peasant remain a peasant except in exceptional cases even if there were intellectual or physical capacities superior to others because we always favored the noble ones Bourgois and the priests I'm not even talking to you about the kings... Napoleon was a visionary he was a very arrogant genius and his past is not the type of behavior at the time even today in real life to give you an idea he has even predicts that one day China will be the most powerful country in the world its a lot of laughter from kings and intellectuals who use propaganda to belittle it as for its size or make them mean so that their people do not adhere not at it's word or its truth
