I grew up in the Death Row era and remember VIVIDLY that Snoop and Pac were on bad terms. You could even sense it in the interviews they did together. Snoop was the best thang smokin' since Wonder Bread and grape Kool-Aid when "The Chronic" dropped. And when "Doggystyle" was released, it was like, flawless victory, SNOOP WINS! But, when Pac signed to Death Row, almost like overnight, all eyes really were on him and everyone wanted 2Pac this and 2Pac that. And, in my opinion, it wasn't because he was a "better rapper"... Pac was fresh outta prison, surrounded by controversy with a lot to say...and it got our full attention.
