Not in my opinion. Napolean really improved the quality of life for france by improving the economy and introducing landmark taxation laws that were fair for the third estate. He was a general that could govern just as well. While he may fall into some classic pitfalls of a dictator, morally he was way better off than hitler. Hitler’s initial idea for living space for germans may be a nationalist positive but all that went down the drain due to his actions against jews. Not even his own people were happy with him.

@@History.official Stalin imo is the complete opposite of Napolean. Where one sought to improve his country's economy the other completely bled it dry on the Space Race and the Arms race. I don't have an opinion on political ideologies, but what i do have an opinion on is how the masses fare under their leaders. The best example would be the case of West and East Berlin. Clearly, the westerners enjoyed a better life. Stalin, again falls into many classic pitfalls but has no redeeming factors like napolean did. I wonder what could have happened if napolean did conquer russia? No opinion on Churchill, not familiar with his actions/policies.
