Damn, Im still undecided if I should go with an all perry landwehr force (heavier to transport and more expensive) or the warlord landwehr (less dinamic poses and just a little less detail). You did an amazing job on both!
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I had the same dilemma so I tried both. I have that same feeling about other figures even from the same makers, weight and ease of storage etc is definitely a factor.

Great Video! liked how you done it. My main project for this year is Napoleonic Prussians, just got to clear some of the remaining British and Dutch so I've got room to get them on the paint tray lol. Lovely work and Inspiring, eager to get on with mine, though along with the Landwehr I will be starting with some Musketeers. Been having fun with the research as had not read to much on the Prussians.

Glad to provide some inspiration, enjoy your project - I find that I often enjoy the research as much as the painting.

Thank you very much, I'm very glad that people draw inspiration from my work as that's one of the reasons I enjoy sharing it. Mind-boggling to think that it can reach the other side of the world! Very happy to include some more detail on the different paints that I use in future videos.

9:11 AM 11/27/2020 Need Deaths Head Hussars in there.
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
I did look at including that unit in the collection as having been attached across from Von Bulow’s Corps, but I decided to go with the Brandenburg Hussars in the end as I think that would be an interesting uniform to paint.

Amazing work! I’m currently painting Prussians myself and I wanted to ask where you got your paining references from as I’m finding it very difficult to gather information on the uniforms ?
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
Thank you. A great variety of places be it books or online. Stephen Summerfields books are excellent and I’ve picked up snippets from articles on the Napoleon Series site - sometimes it’s a question of comparing and aggregating a reasonable scheme if the information is a little confused. Landwehr are at least roughly straightforward with their uniforms being so simple!

Hey thx for the greate presentation of your army. Could you let me know why you chose to place 6 troops per base not 4.
@thelastbattalion35093 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It was a trade off between the size of the figures, the frontage they occupied, what frontage that would represent in 'real terms' in Carnage & Glory II and as far as possible using four bases for each unit.

What basing width are you using? 15mm, 20mm, or some other base width per figure?
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
15mm per infantry figure. I like to have them relatively close together.

Very , very nice 👌 if you wanted more lol 😂 there is evidence brown coats or even red were used in some newly formed units and stolen French gear
