First off thank you for creating and sharing this video. I appreciate your honest feedback, pros and cons about the LMLM and how it fares in the world outside of home use. Keep it up 👍🏼

Thanks for the honest feedback. This is the kind of info I was looking for and it's hard to find.

For updates. The new version you can change the 1 second pre-infuse. To 5 second. It helps.

I know! I was really excited when they made the announcement, but we have the older model and it’s not fit for the app. There’s an upgrade we would have to install for it to work. But that part isn’t available yet. As soon as it is released, I hope to install it and use the app. Cheers my friend!

I really appreciate this video! I am in the middle of a coffee trailer build and I was leaning towards the LM LM or the LM GS3, the main reason being they run on 15/20 amp circuit.
@NapoleonRinconHomeBarista4 жыл бұрын
My pleasure! The Mini may work for your business if your demand is low. If not, I would skip the GS3 and go with a new or used two group Linea Classic or Linea PB. I’ve seen Linea Classics in great condition for 7k. This may be a good time to find a good deal, as there may be some coffee companies going out of business.😞 To run a two group machine, I believe you’re going to need at least a 30 Amp circuit.
@sethgarrett38704 жыл бұрын
NapoHBarista TV my problem with a 2 group Linea or honestly even a single is that it would be a major power increase, so I will need easily double the size of generator.
@sethgarrett38704 жыл бұрын
NapoHBarista TV for instance a 2 group Linea pulls 4400 watts, the LMLM only pulls 1820 watts

hey love this video, ive used a linea mini and it works good. Using a slayer i felt spoiled and always wanted the ability to program the boiler as well as pre infusion time. i ended up going with the fully manual Profitec 700 pro dual boiler, it is a fraction of the cost of the linea mini and it works extremely good. It does have a PID for the boilers for group head and steam and i could push the steam pressure to 15 bars.
@NapoleonRinconHomeBarista4 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you! Wow that’s impressive. The Slayer is my dream machine. Yeah there are machines out there that offers more features. La marzocco just released an update that allows for more controls via their new app. We purchased the Linea Mini because it’s a little beast and it’s super durable. I wish I went bigger, but I also have no regrets with our purchase.

Hello quick question can I do 50 to 70 drinks with the profitec 700 in 5 hrs ?? Looking to start up a small pop up bar. Thank you
@Straightfromshibuya2 жыл бұрын
@@johnnymata523 yes! We use it in a farmers market setting to serve around that many drinks. I would say a flow jet system and an actuator are essential to not burn out the internal water pump. A voltage regulator or generator would give you the constant power to the machine. If you are using it in a building you don’t have that problem just if you are doing events. I love the manual flow rate for pre infusion shots. I use a 20g vst basket but use 18g of coffee so that I can have room to bloom the puck.

@@Straightfromshibuya thank you so much for that great info. I was thinking of getting two of those and putting them side by side would that work you think ??

LM has no pre infuse system, volumetric system, and digital temp setting. In my opinion it is suitable for homebaristas who want good coffee at home. We can use it for commercial purpose but in low quantity. Overall i love this LM.
