Hi Cory, thanks for your honesty, I too suffer from PTSD and depression due to a very stressful career during the Northern Ireland Conflict. At the beginning of the pandemic I was hospitalised with diabetes. It is ironic, but It was one of the best things that happened to me. I cut out all sugars and reduced carbs. I was able to lose weight and eventually come to a point where I don't need any nasty medication for the disease. This week, I began rehab at the gym because I carry a lot of old injuries in my legs , neck and back from my former work . Mentally and physically I am feeling better in only one week. I have played guitar from the age of 13 and I am now in my late 40s. My guitar was my way to escape from all the stress and violence I had to deal with at work. For many years my guitars lay untouched under the stairs. I have also began playing again. I have been watching my way through your videos and I want to encourage you that you have played a part in me getting back into music and guitar playing. I have just ordered two Vintage, v100, LP type guitars, one in tobacco burst with vintage Trevor Wilkinson pickups and a Goldtop with P90 pickups. I heard a blind test between a Gibson LP and a Vintage lemodrop guitar. I was surprised to find out that I thought the Vintage was the Gibson. Everyone who I sent the a link to also got it wrong and thought the Vintage v100 was the Gibson. Vintage guitars range from £250 - £700 in the UK and at half the price they are a great alternative to Gibson. You should check them out on your channel. Keep posting, and keep doing what you do. I would miss your guitar reviews and that amazing German accent if you ever gave up!

Welcome back! Great job with the diet... I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, had high blood pressure and some other issues. I cut pretty much ALL the sugar, since my sweet tooth was my downfall. Severely cut carbs too. Lost 45 pounds (20.4 kilos) without a lot of effort. So best of luck to you!

hello Cory, wilkommen zurück! i really liked your channel before, so i am glad you are back and certainly glad you are feeling better. i don't think i myself had depression ever, but maybe i did, i used to always be the pessimitic guy. i have also cut out sugar and i really watch my carbohydrate intake. i lost some weight and i am feeling better too. also, i always eat little amounts. helps a lot too. much easier to get on with your day after eating. anyway. plans for your channels sound good. i'm interested. i will be watching.

Gute Einleitung, du bist ein ehrlicher und sympathischer Kerl. Ich hoffe du kriegst das Gesundheitlich alles hin. In der Phase meiner Depression habe ich das Guitar Hearts Project gegründet. Man braucht halt immer irgendwas, was einen hoch hält. Das mit dem Reverb Kanal finde ich auch gut. Vielleicht mache ich das so für Leftys, da ist die Auswahl auch nicht so groß :D Bleib dran.
