I love this! But it makes me so upset because as a little girl my hair was longer than this.. I just had to go and straighten it making it all break off.. Totally took it for granted :( but its grown so so fast so I can't wait to try this! :)

Wow, I've been braiding my two daughters hair as they transition and have the hardest time not having to borrow hair from the sections as i get closer to the ends, i never thought of doing it this way, but I am sure your creativity resulted from the many hours you spend practicing. Once again, Thank You, as i do not have the time and patience required to figure out these methods, but once you explain them, it clicks like - DUUH, of course!

Wow I love the way you braid your hair. I love the type of hair you have. I love how long your hair is. If only I had stayed natural, I wonder how my hair would look today. This is a cute hairstyle! I can't wait until my hair gets as long as yours. I've been natural for a little over a year. It has been a struggle learning how to take care of my hair and trying to figure out what works and what does not work with my hair type, but I'm enjoying the experience. Thanks for taking the time to upload these videos. I'm learning so much from you! (My sisters are also natural chicas & they referred me to you when I started my natural hair journey, lol).

Do u ever use a comb to style your hair. I see your always using your fingers to separate strands and twist them and style. Is it wrong to comb your hair because i always experience a lot of shedding when i comb and brush it before braiding.
@jamaicankinks11 жыл бұрын
not using combs or brushes reduces breakage, which equals to more length.
@LunaMysteriax11 жыл бұрын
It's not wrong to use a comb, especially if you are careful, but it is definitely not necessary. Like jamicankinks said, you experience less breakage and retain more length and fullness without a comb. I have not used a comb or boar brush in almost 2 years and it has been the best thing i've done for my hair.
@potterylady111 жыл бұрын
She did use one to part her hair. But it's not wrong to use combs. It's just that parting hair that has curls in it can be a pain in the :). So the fingers work so much better. You don't want to break all you hair out so use your fingers hun! :) Hope this helps.
@ohemgeethatisjokes11 жыл бұрын
starrsvm its so true, I have started finger combing and I get less breakage, better results and my curl pattern actually in tact. The comb definitely messes up my pattern sometimes. Even if its a denman - it may alter my pattern too. FINGER COMBING IS GREAT! but yeah, parting hair without one -especially if you want a clean part - its best to try a comb for that. Unless you have long stiletto type nails. :)
