Eyyyy! I bought this thing too and directly after using it was like "...Naptural85 needs to try this..." lol! I was sooo excited for you to review it cause I just knew you would love it too! My only complaint is I wish the carry bag had a lid or closure of some kind... I can see it getting dusty in the bag. Also how does one clean the hose? I'm afraid of product buildup possibly occurring inside the hose so I've been really lighthanded with my leave in and heat protectant.

How did you style your hair after this? I've never been a blow out person, but let's just say I woke up one morning not in my right mind and bought this, what kind of styles can you do after the blow out? What products should you use during and after the blowout for your style? Thanks!
Thanks so much for the review, really appreciate it.

I bought this and I considered it an investment that would pay off in less stress and time. The weekend was never mine. The anxiety of multi-day wash days had me about to shave my head right before I saw this thing. I would avoid wash days which increased the dread. It was either book the appt to cut it off or this machine. I've used it twice in the last 2 weeks and I am very happy so far. I have high density 4 a/b/c hair that goes past my bra strap. Much kinkier than Naptural's. It's already paid for itself cuz 2 trips to a natural hair salon where I live cost the same amount. I've been natural for 10 years and have only straightened my hair 3 times cuz it would take FOREVER. Not to mention the breakage and pain. I'm tender-headed. I was a grown woman in a salon for 8 hours crying and I would detangle before I went. Detangling for me is just a nightmare. I can do my own hair now and even give myself a more even trim. My hair has been blown out for the past 2 weeks. Something I could NEVER do before. I'm still playing around with it, but I predict in the long run I will have less breakage and detangling will be even easier every wash day. Protective styling is easier cuz having it straight creates less tangling. Curly styles were never worth it but protective styles were doing a number on my edges. It was a lose lose for me. Anyway, if you're anything like me, it might be worth it. I tried the Revlon thing and that wouldn't go through my roots. I was so disappointed. This reverse air dryer took abt 1 hour the last time I did it and I took my sweet time detangling out the shower in between sections : )

Thank you for your review, Whitney! We loved the crinkle look your hair achieved at the lower tension setting, but yes, to straighten all the way, you need to increase the tension setting on the base. The seven settings are where the suction comes from. The tighter the curl, the more tension it will need to straighten the hair. Your hair is so long and beautiful!!! After a couple tries, you will quickly learn your tension setting and time needed to achieve optimal results. We promise, it becomes super fast once you know what works best for your hair. ❤️

No tech genius tool! Just the lowly vacuum cleaner slightly toned down so it won't suck your hair right out of your scalp! @@AsteriETERNAL I don't think they're trying to be tech geniuses. It 'tickles' me when Reviewers say, "There not paying me!" Sister, the equipment IS THE PAYMENT. Did they send you a 'bill' for it? No? Then they PAID you $400 or whatever the cost of the product is... unless of course you sent it back.
@Liz-ic6jb6 жыл бұрын
That blow dryer probably cost $50-$60 for that company to make. So it's not equivalent to being paid $400. And it's a product she doesn't need she already has blow dryers.
@AngelGrl1356 жыл бұрын
Liz Carol the value of something is market value, not how much it costs the company to manufacture it. Also, whether or not she owns multiple hair dryers does not detract from the market value. So she was indeed paid by product, a value of $400.

Just watched this and ordered one two mins later. AMAZING! I have a mix of 3a,b,c hair. I haven't put any heat on my hair in like 6 years and did a big chop (after having locs for a few years) about a year and a half ago. I'm hoping this can be used in lieu of a flat iron. As long as my hair is smooth I don't need it to be perfectly pressed. Can't wait to try it out. I think I'm going to wrap it and make myself wait until Christmas lol. Just in time for winter because lets be real about wet hair and cold air!

I tried mine for the first time tonight. Yes, it does work. It’s overall easier for me to use than a traditional blow dryer. It’s expensive, it’s heavy and it’s loud (comparable to a vacuum). The sound doesn’t bother me...I just can’t really watch tv while using it. But you’ll get an arm workout for sure. It’s easy to figure out how to use. Overall I think it’s worth it. I’m happy I bought it on sale, and recommend you get it on sale, too.

Thanks Whit. As I have now resorted to blow drying my fine strands with a short pik to avoid tangles. The Revair looks like it would work great for my fine strands without incurring breakage but $400 plus import costs to the Uk would take the price up to close to $500...might be worth it but might just wait for either a significant price drop or for Revair’s competitor to make a sleeker and less bulky, heavy and cheaper version of this product. Shalom ladies

Seems like a great way to dry your hair fast and without mechanical or heat damage. This is especially important for us with damaged hair. I've seen reviews on long coily haired ladies and they didn't really have that issue on the ends, probably comes down to technique. Like just leaving it in high and working out how long your hair actually takes to dry rather than following some time on the box for the different portions of your hair. I mean I'm poor, but I would most definitely get it if I could.

I think if the machine it’s self is geared towards salon stylist. It doesn’t seem practical for everyday use. It’s bulky so you can’t travel with it. It’s heavy so doing it on your own hair is definitely a work out. And the price is high for everyday consumers. If they made a few adjustments I think it would be a great product. Maybe cordless/hoseless, and lowering the price. All in all I loved your review. Very honest and straight forward
