I’m so glad they asked her about the Trad Wife comments and she answered so perfectly. She’s a literal model and influencer. That’s a job and she makes her own money. She and her husband met while she was working-on the runway. They’re in the same profession. I honestly think people are just jealous that she can juggle all these responsibilities at the same while turning out looks and being boo’d up with her loving husband. Keep thriving Nara, you’re doing amazing sweetie!
@samross8259Ай бұрын
I’m really happy they addressed the trad wife labels and that Nara denounced it by affirming she works as a model and creator. I’m glad she also mentioned that having three children under four leads to a loud chaotic home because you don’t get that impression from her videos. When you watch her videos they follow a certain format and despite what Nara claims she’s leaning into a housewife aesthetic through the costumes (gowns), pristine kitchen, and elaborate meals around the clock that require extensive preparation which she does with children out of sight and on her own. I think her message of cooking food from scratch and enjoying modern comforts without resorting to processed foods is a strong message that gets lost in the trad wife formula. My only guess as to why she leans into this formula is to further her reach and spark engagement through the controversy of tradwives. This is the central conflict I believe most people have with her videos.

@@samross8259I think the entire “controversy” around her should help remind us that videos are what they are. Just produced forms of content that do not necessarily give you a look into any real facet in someone’s life. The way people take things so literally and seriously on the internet is toxic for society. To me it is common sense but I think many have gotten too comfortable with technology and assuming things from a 30 second/1 minute clip. Humans are like onions, we have layers lol 😆

Yes! Especially her content persona. Her tone of voiceover and some other things in her content don’t transfer well from videos made in her home, on her phone to National television. Where she doesn’t have complete control. I suspect her modeling background is helpful in this situation.

For people wondering why the hosts were “talking over her”, it’s because it’s live television and they understand the time constraints. If they waited on Nara to control everything, they wouldn’t have had enough time to get through the segment.

To not appear rushed, the hosts could inform the guests ahead of time the total time for the segment. That would allow the guests to prepare and condense their information ahead of time so that the audience could understand and enjoy the show more.
