Compared to Amaravati, there are several cities in Andhra Pradesh that offer promising potential for development with lower investment requirements. The Tirupati-Sri City belt, for instance, has already shown growth as an industrial hub due to its proximity to Chennai, access to skilled labor, and infrastructure support. The Kakinada and Krishnapatnam-Ramayapatnam areas also hold significant promise, especially with their strategic coastal locations that support port development and trade. Additionally, Visakhapatnam (Vizag) is emerging as a key city with well-established infrastructure, making it an attractive option for further development. The Guntur-Vijayawada region also offers excellent connectivity and is well-positioned to serve as a central node for trade and commerce within the state. The Anantapur-Bangalore border region benefits from proximity to the thriving Bangalore metro area, allowing it to attract businesses and industries seeking lower operational costs while still being close to a major urban center. Kurnool, with its central location and access to major highways, can serve as a logistical hub connecting various parts of Andhra Pradesh

Roads are congested, public transport is over loaded (to put it mildly), there is rarely enough space to even breathe in any public place.
