I bought NARC 4k and watched it. 1st the sound is very good as far as shootouts go feels like you are there, but I did have to turn on subtitles to figure out what is going on. Video transfer looks different from what I remember it looks more colorful now. I still don't like the movie, but I do like it more than I did when I watched it on dvd.

Yeah they a 100% changed the color timing. But I used to think it wasn’t a good looking movie so I was glad that they changed that. That early 2000s look just wasn’t for me.

@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia I think Hollywood saw that THE MATRIX had that tint in 1999 and figured people love tints in their movies. For like 10 years we got teal in about every movie from 2000 to 2010.

You know I do remember watching this on dvd rental and not liking it but I also remember not liking DEEP COVER on dvd but enjoyed on blu-ray. My question is which movie is better NARC or DEEP COVER?

That’s a really funny question because I was thinking what’s the better undercover cop movie. And they’re pretty similar but I still like deep cover more. narc is a little darker in tone.

I think he and his producer partner did that a few times. I am actually surprised their company didn’t last longer than it did. But imagine him in this movie? I don’t know if I can lol

Ray Liotta is really some actor and should have gotten better movies to be in instead of those straight to video trash he appeared in. He is that actor that you think he is giving the same kind of performance all the time, but he is not. Ray is like a Steve McQueen & Paul Newman type.

I couldn’t agree more and from all accounts she took his roles very seriously. Willing to gain and loose weight. Maybe he wasn’t the greatest actor ever but I always liked him and he had some incredible roles.
