They say opposites attract and it seems that the negative energy of a narcissist and the positive energy of an empathic person are drawn to each other. Positive people have empathy and have a lot of love to give, they want to heal people while negative narcissists are without empathy and like to hurt others. When these two people get together it's the poor empath who comes out the most battle weary and with the most scars, if they get out at all. Narcissists won't do the inner work to change and save themselves but an empathic person can change and learn to love and save that inner child crying out for love within themselves.

I've experienced 35 years of narcissists. My entire family was against me, I was the scapegoat. We're conditioned to be servants to the narcs and so grow up people pleasing and only feeling comfortable when fixing or enabling people's bad behaviour. We're not taught healthy boundaries or recognised as being someone who matters. Our feelings, our values and our needs don't matter. The only way around this is to be alone, go no contact, work on your boundaries, do the necessary work on ourselves and learn who we are beyond the labels and fake persona the narc has given us. This can take years to over come. Be patient with yourself. It took the narc years to make you who you are, it will take years to recreate yourself. Love and peace to everyone going through a hell forced onto them by another. There is hope !!!

At The end of the narcissistic relationship that I was in, the narcissist tried to hurt me and blame shift by pointing out all the bad relationships I had been in before him and instead of getting upset or giving him any kind of fuel I agreed with him and said you’re right because unhealthy attracts unhealthy I was basically serving him notice to that he is also unhealthy! he knew I was working on getting help by going to support groups about codependency. To add that statement really upset him to the point he yelled bad names over & over to me trying to put all the blame on me, but I didn’t let it get to me & I told him it didn’t bother me because I knew the truth about me & I told him & you know the truth too because you have been with me for the past year. That day I prayed for something to give knowing the yelling was getting to me & he left. It worked out the way it had to!

How about if you're born in a narcissistic family & you're 30 something years old. In that case, more than 50% people you encounter throughout life will be narcs. So you'll be experienced in this area eventually. Claim is not that absurd indeed isn't it..

@Victoria Bergman Stay away from them permaneantly or atleast keep them.at bay and dont involve yourself emotionally. I feel you I know that. I may no know your experiences but I sympathise as Ive had thosenarcs in family and boyfs. You need to tske time out for youaway from them and perhaps find a job away from narcs. We come across all types of people. It's all about what we allow from certain people. If a manipulator manipulates you they are NOT going to say "oh I see it's hurting you let me stop." No they are going to keep on doing it. Meanwhile, you're tangled up with this person and a person who truly loves themselves is going to look at both you and become even more grateful for the love they have for themselves. That same person could have loved you better than the manipulator could ever in their lifetime.

I had to share this, which is really a double edged sword...I was on my A game when my ex narc popped up outta nowhere last September...had mutual friends....we empath vibe so highly that narcs fly in as moth to flame...that we are opposites and they need our fuel. Another caveat I was able to piece together, he popped up after he found out I'd briefly dated someone that he probably felt challenged by, so then he went on a conquest....took a while to see this, but the time with ex narc was so shallow, stringing me saying, let's just see how this goes...then months after met two pretty powerful people he knew, he claims me His girlfriend to them, while all that time I was a subservient nothing...just a rag doll he'd drag around. LOA yes, but there are caveats when it comes to dealing with narcs. They are manipulative multifaceted minions of evil.

I see all this horrible experience as a life lesson of self sabotage. We can blame narcissism if not educated about it, but I was raised by one. Molested by another and finally completed a karmic cycle with the last. I felt this person was perfect for me. Lol. They mirrored ME.. back to ME.... and despite my lack of self love, I was smitten kitten. Thought this was the love of my life. Yep! A narcissist. SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️. 4 years of pathological lying, cheating and the last straw... physical abuse and violent rages. You see, I fell in love with me. It was me I was dating since they are soulless entities. The universe has to show us our worth in a sick way sometimes to wake us empathic souls up and stop us from giving it all away. And to the wrong energy. Yeah. I learnt the horrible way. I am 18 but they nearly sucked my life out. I can feel feel your pain. Sometimes, when I see someone abused either in a movie or real life, I get extremely angry. I hate what narcs do. Some of them probably tried to use me as of late but it did not work. When you are kind and gentle, they try to test you and see if they can use you. I actually don't agree with all aspects of the law of attraction I have worked spiritually as a healer with mediums on myself for years I was a trained nurse so clinically academic too also facial aesthetics trained with 2gps and a doctor of dentistry my subjects and knowledge base are all humanistic there are people who are service to self predominantly narcs and cluster b groups who definitely congregate together generally to prey on others and service to others individuals who generally want to make a positive difference to others lives evidence of such individuals are everywhere also selfless they are the people who are evolved emotionally and help push humanity forward I was born into a family of narcs I have a sister who frequents an entire group of women who manipulate men for gain or business that is their talent they steal and abuse others the men they associate with do the same they also project crap onto the people they're abusing I have a daughter who has inherited predatory traits and also is service to self abusive and hurts deeply whoever she thinks she needs to and displays all the traits of a narc with her own syblungs bullying playing them off against each other very sly and pathological lier my relatives are all into organised crime also a feature you mentioned of the narc they're all text book narcs of some kind or associate with sociopaths or psychopaths ect I married a narc I never fitted in with any of my relatives bullying behaviour or demeanour when I was a kid so was the blacksheep I still have no wish to fit in with their way of life regardless of the fact that they're wealthy and now all bullying me I am at least 25yrs divorced and had money a career and property my kids are grown-up and there's absolutely no need for the bullying I'm not attracting it I am just different from them ALL energetically I have had a partner who wasn't a narc but he died as time has gone by I have realised that my daughter is a narc as she is a bully and has been emotionally bullying the crap out of me with my sex worker sister whose also a drug addict they've bullied another sister whose also tried to kill herself they need some one too bully because they're narcs anyone who goes along with deliberate bullying theft and engineered abusetofyanother human being has to have a personality defect at they least or most definitely lack humanity and is selftinterested and when that behaviour is doneysystematically to a wideyspectrumyof people byygroupsythat usually comes under the spectrum of narcacistic abuse I haven't attracted it and I'm positive there will be others who haven't because I know they individuals who are doing it and they're horrible individuals passing themselves off as human beings fakes and flakes truth I will give you an example of the fact that this is a spiritual war my sex worker sister left her own child abandoned in a hospital has done nothing but mess with my kids xhusbands with her mates because she's psychotic loves being abusive causing chaos lying pathologically and trying with her mates to influence everyone around her has control issues so does my daughter who has bullied the crap out of my other daughter and is bullying me covertly but openly recently to my face their associate has kept taken a master teacher manual of mine who is probably ill the women do tarot cards witchcraft and black magic not authentic people as in not who they say they are to people and probaly would like to do healing work but as they are low level vibrating energy beings will not make effective healers as healing comes from the light and God and you can't fake that you can if your a narc and don't care for others but you won't make a good or effective healer they are demon possessed by the fact they're prepared to stand on others to get a result they want and play the wounded soldier to justify abuse my mother was awful to me as a child I'm not a narc and I don't delight in wanting to attack and bully her with groups of clowns making excuses for horrendous unwarranted atttacks on others and I am informed that my other kids obviously know what my narc daughter is like which I am also informed narc behaviour kicks in at an early age hence she's been and still is a nightmare it's about education awareness and the difference between right and wrong and narcs think they're entitled to abuse whoever they want and make any old bs up as a reason for just doing narc behavioural when it's family members it has nothing to do with the law of attraction
