If you are tired of narcissists, I'll show you a different way I learned to deal with them, and that has worked for others. Learn how to take back your power.
In the video I mentioned the URNB app I developed while manifesting, and it's here:

Wish I had learned this in my 20’s. People can only take what you are willing to give and (us)empaths must learn to take care of self as that is not our nature. I finally made space from Narcissist & other flying monkey’s to find myself once again and it’s a whole new me/world/beginning. I no longer dread the rising sun or evening sunsets. I love every minute waiting on God to show me His love through so many avenues. Slow down, get with God so He can show you who He made you to be. He knows how kind, loving and giving you are. Now discover how important you are to Him, how strong you will be with Him and loved you are by Him. Then find others who see the real you and appreciate you.

This is very good, it took me years to realize what I have been dealing with as the scapegoat all my life. I was raised in a narcissistic culture in which people were taught selfishness in the form of the self-esteem doctrine. When I left behind all expectations and did what I believed to be right the narcissists went away and stopped trying to control me. They would get mad at first when they discovered they had no power over me and then they disappeared because they hate to lose and with me they began to lose every time because I did not take their bait.

That's very well stated. My experience was very similar. Glad you've made progress. Reminds others it's possible.

Yes once you really get this figured out, you realize the way to get narcissists out of your life is by staying focussed on yourself, in a healthy, productive way. This is narcissist repellant. They want to be surrounded with people who will prioritize the narcissist’s needs - not their own. Yes - pull yourself out of their game. That’s it, in a nutshell. Value yourself - unashamedly. And watch the narcissists disappear!

Yes, Ive had the same thought: the similarities between myself and the narcissist as far as focused on the other person changing. As far as the narcissist using Shame to control and the victim believing in that shame and allowing to be controlled. As far as the narcissist’s lack of empathy for us and our lack of empathy for ourselves… It’s all made of the same ‘stuff’ attracting these likenesses together 😢

I accomplished this with detachment and indifference thanks to channels like yours. I've been learning through you tutors for four years now. You're describing radical acceptance and your perspective is excellent - at the end of the day we were at a standoff at best. Thank you for that. Wishing you much success in helping others. 🙌

Once I couldn't take my exes horrible behavior anymore I divorced him and am keeping my place of residence a secret from him. I took my power back and the longer I am not around him the better I am in every way. I was vulnerable to begin with being raised in an extremely abusive environment. I wonder how many of us that were or still are with a narcissist had horrible childhoods.

What do you think your biggest challenge is now?
@cindygould1261
@cindygould1261 Жыл бұрын
@@TheRealDavidJohnson My biggest challenge by far is trusting people. I have a very small group of people that I allow in my life. My 3 adult kids and their partners, and 1 friend. I do have a large extended family in Canada too but only see them every couple months. My kids and my friend are the only ones who know where I live. My ex is emotionally and physically abusive. The emotional was far worse. He was convicted of domestic violence.

It's a nightmare trying to avoid my neighbour. I meet her every day in the staircase. Or outside where she sits and waits for someone to show up. She is gossiping about others, wants to control everything.. She even convinced us to give her the key to our apartment "to react in case there is something wrong and we aren't home"! We offered help since day one, she is much older. She started calling and texting and even ringing on the door expecting us to react immediately, otherwise she acts offended. She also writes down" rules" and hangs them by the entrance. She says: "What would you all do if I wasn't here!" She thinks, she is irreplaceable, so important for us to survive. We never wanted a conflict and were polite and helpful. Yet she kept wanting more and more of our time and attention. She is so cynical and even laughs and points at my skin, although she knows I have a skin illness. I didn't want to throw back the same dirt at her, so I reduced contact, but she reacted angry how I dared answering so late, what did she do to me, she asked! I can't take it anymore and I blocked her. Now I'm having heart issues just going out of my apartment, knowing she would confront me with some nasty comments or questions again. I feel so trapped.

See her like a stone or a thing. An object. Affirm that she is nothing for you. Focus on your reaction. Practice not letting out any reaction towards her. Just a one word answer politely. Always act like you have a place to go or in the middle of work. You goal is she should feel you are naturally busy or naturally in that way so that she can leave you organically. Don’t give your problem too much thought for it becomes the most important thing in life. Give less attention.

@@SchoolOfUnlearning3 thanks so much! You are so right. It needs practice to stay calm and not to engage in any conversation. And yes, it becomes the most important thing in life. As I write this, I realise how crazy it is! I came from my holidays just recently. The whole vacation in a beautiful country I wasted on thinking of her and her nastiness. I need to escape from my own obsession with this person. It's incredible...!!

@@SchoolOfUnlearning3and the "nothing to me". Exactly... I tried to create an image of the important people in my life. She didn't appear at all. She is indeed nothing to me. The disgust is so big, yet my ego needs to speak out to her, to shout at her how nasty she is and how I demand from her to immediately stop this. But I'm sure it will become only worse... It's a battle in my mind - between my common sense and my ego
