Personally I see that evil influence as Egopathy itself. I don't shift blame off of them, I give credit where credit is due and their personality is straight up evil. Because how can they still believe a lie when they fully realize it's a lie. This is why they so desperately need everyone to ACCEPT THE LIE. Because you uncovering them is more than just exposing them to others, you force them to take a good look at themselves and they certainly don't like that. 12:33 - Completely agree with points 1 and 2. 13:35 - It’s so much deeper than that, they wanted you to become them so they could take your place as a good person. To debt shift away their evil and steal your goodness. To take your soul and now magically it is their soul... until they need another... they always need another. But that's the irony, your personality is what they covert, but they can't have it so destroy you instead. The pinnacle of envy, if I can't have it, no one can. They aren't into self-improvement in any honest way. And that means no self-improvement. Fooling yourself is a death sentence for personal improvement. Moral of the story: Don't expect improvement or honesty from those that can't even be honest with themselves.

You mentioned Hippies. I was roommates with a sociopath in Northern California. The city was considered to be the last refuge of the hippies who left San Francisco in the late 60's. I was going through a very intense situation. There was this one hippie girl who was actively manipulating me throughout this whole ordeal. It's really scary to think there are people who see someone in a very vulnerable place dealing with a malevolent person, and who think it's a good opportunity to play with their mind. I could say a lot more, but it'd be a novel.

Jezebel spirit is absolutely accurate. My evil criminal, thief neighbor is exactly that. She says being a whole doesn't bother her. So no moral compass at all.
