Fantasy is not only a counterfactual narrative or coercion. It is a regulatory mechanism, a form of self-supply, a defense against fragility and vulnerability, a time machine (regression to symbiosis and womb), a fake good object, a cognitive distortion, a pseudo-emotion (euphoria, not elation and dysphoria, not depletion).

I have faint memories of a divine sense of peace and often felt agitated at some kind of imperceptible failure to attain it. Oddly enough I've recently experienced it by doing breathing exercises in the shower and it feels like the inner workings of my mind have been smoothed, recalibrated and oiled.

He chose me as his fantasy and when I ask about marriage he told me " come to reality,this is not a fairy tale". And discarded me got married to someone else the very next day while giving fake promises that he will marry me in the whole duration of 5 yrs relationship.

He knew from the beginning he doesn't want to marry me,but gave fake promises and hopes for 5 yrs and didn't even let me have someone who truly loves me.He just kept me untill he finds someone who can give him better supply. He didn't give me any closure. Last day we talked he told me he loves me and will talk after 5 days.but then the next day I saw he uploaded wedding photo in fb. I'm so devastated and all my innocent hopes goals I imagined with him ,and dreams that I wanna grow older together him all vanished.he took my beautiful 20's and wasted my life just because he wanted to have me beside. And when he wants to throw me away he just treated me like a trash just because he wanted me to leave.He didn't tell me truth ,he didn't have a spine to tell the truth.

@@dimi-sophie8769 we both studies in same university.after graduation he went to our motherland and we communicated online.he has history of multiple partners I know him but we haven't dated in person cuz I was still studying there. whole 5 yrs he lied me and trust me he is a good actor no one can tell he is telling lies.he future faked me and it was my first love.i was honest and loyal with whole this 5 years and never gave anyone chamce to approch me because i really loved him and trusted him. He even blocked me for 4 months and came back that time I told him and explained him I need a serious relationship and if u agree to that only we can continue.he accept all and lied we gonna get marry and work on relationship.He wasted 5 yrs if my life even he didn't let me find someone who has pure purpose on me. kept me untill he gets bored then threw me away like I was nothing.

Hi Sam, I'm new to the channel. I saw that there are also books that you have written and I want to get them all. I'm Greek and unfortunately they don't exist in my language, but to read you I would learn good English. You are a contemporary philosopher. The way you think is amazing. Second time in a narcissistic relationship as a lesbian, which, however, lasted much less than the previous one. I feel subconsciously all the time that for some reason I can't connect with this person and I thought it was because I had been hurt in the past. Well, no, my body knew better. Besides that, this woman was the same as the previous one, a scary thing, in appearance at her age in her manner... I am only a 25 year old sociologist and my life is awful despite this for some reason I don't lose hope. I was saying that this last relationship will destroy my trust in others and will re-injury me, however, it woke me up and I want more than ever to work, to take responsibility and become a strong person and not a stupid narcissist (because that also crossed my mind in moments of despair). Platon would have adored you, I think the same as other ancient philosophers. Maybe you would be one of them in those times. I am very impressed and I thank you because you are part of my awakening even though the amount of work I need is enormous.
