I wish they had recorded the bio dad's confession on tape and then showed it to Nancy. I bet she would just find a way to blame her mom and stepdad for her dad ghosting her a second time. Probably, just think "you must have threatened him or scared him away, why else would he just up and leave again??!". Still, I really want a part 2 for the first story

Nah, unfortunately most narcissist will continue to divulge themselves in whatever delusion of reality they had than confronting the truth. And to be honest, OP should've retort back on her for making impression to her mom, with the same thing she did calling him daddy for money.

People don't understand how serious narcissistic personality disorder is. True narcissists like this all play the same games, have the same disgusting attitudes, and they never ever change. A lot of them actually get way worse as they get older and just learn how to manipulate people better. I grew up in a household of not just 1 or 2 narcissists, but fking 3. Both my parents and my little sister were narcissists and it was literally hell on earth. People like this girl are like mirrored images of them. It's really amazing how they all do the exact same things and play the exact same games, like there is some narcissist Playbook or something they all go by. It's disgusting, but they have no empathy and they don't feel real love for anybody, so they don't give a crap who they lose. They will forever be the victim in their own mind and nothing will ever be their fault. They will just find new people to leech onto and suck dry, and so on until their last breath.
@areszeudion51534 ай бұрын
Personally, OP kind of lose the chance of berating her with "Funny to say for you called me daddy for money." should've asked for a refund to each and every last one of expenditures.

Story 1 - I just can't with op. He's too soft for his own good. Op and june need to get pointers on how to firm up your spine. "I never should have done it" what? Giving Nancy what she deserves or marrying June? I think op should be regretful for both decisions at this point. What I understood was op tried to buy his stepdaughter's love and in return she learned she could use that to manipulate op like a rubberband game. Nancy sounds like she takes after her father. That's pitiful she actually believed her sperm donor's bull crap and even more that she was giving him money she mooched from her parents. Story 2 - normally when spouses cheat people tell the betrayed not to throw away everything over a mistake. They tell to keep their family together, think of the kids, all that crap. I'm glad op didn't try to hide what his ex wife did. Never cover for a cheater. Everyone knows what "stepped outside the marriage" means without the drama or nuclear revenge. Op's ex wife could tell whatever bs she told herself to op to excuse her cheating but she can't gaslight the whole neighborhood.

Step-child here... my father raised me since the age of 1. He gets all my respect, and we still have a close bond. I'm 22 now. Being a step parent is not the same situation all around. Sometimes, you get good eggs. Other times, you get the rotten ones.

Also a stepchild 🙋♀️, mine has been in my life since I was 5 and raised me as his and adopted me after yoinking my bio father's parental rights. I'm 24 and am working on a scrapbook for fathers day rn. Can confirm from personal experience that not all stepkids are horrible.

@@kimberlyrichardson5943 I'm glad your relationship is so good BUT a lot of stepdads are disrespected by the stepkids(you can't tell me what to do, you're not my real dad)are used up financially and leave themselves open to unsavory allegations where the accuser will be believed not them. Then there's the matter of having to deal with one or more baby daddies and the issues that brings.Yes I'm glad for you but I'd never want for myself or my son's to be a stepdad

Really weird he expected the speech about the most important man in her life, during something related to her wedding, to be about himself rather than her soon to be husband. I'd consider it weird whether its the bio or step dad she references there if I was the groom.

It's normal for the Bride/Groom speech to acknowledge their parents. Now as for OP. That little tramp pulled a long play on him. She was very smart about it. She slowly buddied up to him. Going as far as to call him Dad. She was making OP's dreams come true. So when she started talking about the greatest man in her life,of course he thought it was him. Nothing strange there at all. Fortunately for OP and his wife,Miss Thang F'd up. She never considered what actions her Mom and OP would take. With that she laid her cards on the table. Now she gets to realize just how ignorant,how stupid, how she just burned her own world.

The stepdad is feeling guilty after the brat of a stepdaughter went too far? She knew what he wanted and when her wedding was coming up she used it against him like a manipulation. But if anyone was delusional it was the stepdaughter thinking her actions wouldn't have consequences. Surprised she wasn't arrested for grand theft and destruction of property. Don't know why OP is having a guilty conscience.

Does anyone have a link to the first story on Reddit, I hate how this channel doesn't link to the stories, especially if there's an update. Like this one story about a guy who had a crush on his Japanese female friend, she didn't know he could speak English and he overheard a conversation between her and her mom, he fully understood everything she said and she admitted to liking him, when he spoke Japanese to her mom when he finally met her, she later got angry at him. He thought he blew his chances with her but all the videos I watched about it ended the story there, I looked thr story up and turned out there was an update, the story fortunately had a happy ending where he admitted to his feelings for her and how he had a crush on her, both became official, so that's I want to know if anyone know what this story is called on reddit. And yes I typed in narcissistic step daughter and wedding and there's a bunch of similar sounding stories so that isn't working.

The guy should atleast have told the groom or the groom's family and other guest about cancellation of the venue. I feel bad for them being dragged in an embarrassing situation except for that ungrateful bride she definitely deserves it.

No, she was wrong. She was a manipulator and a good one at that. He wanted to be a good dad to her and all she did was manipulate time and time again it’s hard to realize someone you care about is a manipulator until they do something that makes someone else you love hate them as well.

Ok I agree with the fact that Op (story 1) was in his right to cancel the venue and they were on their right to cut contact with a full grown adult who act so vile. But : Fist, step-parents shouldn't force themselves into their partner's children's life, that only build resentment like it's the case here. You can be a trusted adult, sometime you can even be a real parental figure but you can't erase and forcefully replace the missing parent (even if it would be better for the child). Second, maybe I overthink a lot here but I also question myself about the mom/daughter relationship. It seems that the mom was prompt to be harsh with her teenage daughter and seeing the fact that the daughter believe so easily her biodad's lies I wonder if the mom wasn't projecting her resentment toward her ex on her daughter, seeing her presence like a reminding of the abuse and a "living part" of her abuser. It could explain many things but it remain purely assumptional.
