The Slipknot ones weren't fails, that was a combination of Clown trying to stay in character, Chris breaking character, and Nard bringing up that funny coverband that Chris was also one of the band members in but no one knew that at the time ahahaha. Slipknot was just trying to not get exposed because Nard clearly knew Chris was part of the band

i think he has a unique dynamic, by appearing completely passive, while being almost always in complete control of the situation. People just don't know WHAT they should do, they know they have to DO something. It's quite interesting to watch how some ride it off, some treat it like a regular interview and some just are completely at a loss.

He does better research than almost every other interviewer, gives his guests really unique, rare, and thoughtful gifts, and is hella nice and people treat him like this? Nardwuar had the toughest fame story for an interviewer/media personality imo. He was always mocked for his high pitch voice and goofy mannerisms as musicians weren't used to such interviewing skills back then, and very few accepted him for who he is. It all worked out though as he's one of the most loved and appreciated interviewer ever right now. Like J. Cole said, let's give Nardwuar his flowers while he's here with us. 🙏🏾❤
