Seems like a sincere and genuine human being. I'd be sorry he has too deal with so many tourist's if he didn't seem to make his livelihood off it, in which case i hope he has to out up with more! I hope he spreads his culture and fatten's his purse as much as the great Khans before him.

I wonder if Nargie is famous in Mongolia, because he's famous worldwide sharing Mongolian culture to the world! He should be famous in Mongolia too!
@MGZetta5 жыл бұрын
He is not that famous in Mongolia. Obviously his contents are in English with English titles and there is no Mongolian subs. He mostly speaks English which means not all of us understand him. But young adults and kids are getting really good at English. So he only gets more famous as we understand more and more English. Thanks for supporting him.

Mongolians really remind me of some of the older rural hispanic people I've known. So much knowledge about this lifestyle, and so much wealth in it. Being close to the land, making your own food from scratch, family life, everything. This is a life that makes many of us Americans very jealous. :)

As a not only spanic but spaniard, from a town of Catalonia, (spain) in my town (sant sadurni d anoia) we make cava, The catalonian traditional champagne, (we re very very close to France after all) I found this very funny bcos I can saw the little brands (almost familiar and local) next to the monsters like "freixenet or codorniu". Different but the same spirit... Great video.

Never forget your ancestors! They are the strongest most successful line of people to ever exist. We are all part of an unbroken lineage back to the very beginning. Unbroken chain from you, to your mom, and your moms mom, and so on. Our ancestors were experts at life, and we should remember, and be reverent to the knowledge and wealth they developed and passed to us.

Ohh wow. It's the same technique we use here in nepal. Brings old memories back. You guys using milk but we use millet, mostly corn and it's fermented using different technique. And the big cylindrical bucket we use is made up of clay. We do not make it but those people who makes clay items u know. Other than that same technique totally. It is not much in practice nowadays cuz of the influence of factory produced alcohols. People use it for their own use and it is used in festivals too. Actually it's a great part of our culture. And we call it AAIRAG in our language. Purely pure and organic alcohol. No chemicals mixed whatsoever. Brought back all those childhood memories. But we still do produce it in home for special purposes and festivals. And there are people doing business of it and let me tell u that they are not good as home produced. By the way we were always told that we have come from mongolia and maybe the technique is passed from mongolia to Nepal. I am very happy to see this. U r the best. Keep em coming.

Yeah it is safe. That ger district they mentioning is just outskirt of the city where no apartment complexes. In the city it is pretty safe. CCTV every where if it makes you feel safe.
Nargie a suggestion if may please. In India there are a lot of milk based sweets such as Rasgulla, Khova, Pedha, Kalakhand, Rasmalai, Champakali, Chamcham, Jamoon etc. As food in your region is predominantly milk based, adding on milk based Indian sweets to them would be a great idea.

I should mention that the "ethanol production" is the fermented airag. The bacteria har already converted lactose to glucose to ethanol. The heating is to destroy lecitin (which will seperate fats from water), kill the fermentation bacteria. If you are going to are going to dry this at home you could use pastorized milk, use lactic acid to seperate casein and filter, use lactaze (same as lactose intolerant people use) and once lactose has been converted to glucose, add the regular yeast or alkas enzyme. This will most likley have a allot smother taste then the wheat ethanol that is common.
