Narooma Fishing Adventure Day 1 - Bar crossing, bagging out on flathead and fishing Montague Island

Day #1 of a 4 day fishing adventure to Narooma on the NSW South Coast.
We take my 490 Coast Runner through the Narooma bar morning and afternoon to get to the best flathead grounds I've ever fished then blast out to Montague Island for my first time fishing there.

i saw that you where measuring your flatties to 36cm they are sand flatties so only ave to be 33cm

Your right, we did! At first it was by accident but after we had a few in the boat it worked as a good way of only keeping the bigger ones.
