Nate, You definitely need to give yourself and Jen a little more walk space in the kitchen area like she was talking about. Mine is longer than it is wide and has no room for two. I've hated that althought the chef does get more kisses! 🥰 You have to take turns when you need to get to the fridge, or the cup cabinet, etc. 😂 If oven door or dishwasher door is open... just forget it. The holidays were fun but hectic in the kitchen. Edit: Fun video I love going through hardware stores and seeing all the new things. Thanks, Nate for taking us along.

that packout stuff is wicked. Dads been a mechanic for 40 years, says its the best stuff hes seen in a long time. they have a ton of it in their power tool closet. he mentioned the 3d printing and that was a selling point for me, not to just copy their stuff but that it opened up so many options for making custom stuff that clips in to the bases for example making an adapters for your makita stuff to clip in to it as well.

Dark wood kitchens are so old fashioned. Look at 2 tone kitchens, much better. Porcelain counter tops are way cheaper and look just like marble. Less maintenance as well. Pull outs go wrong quicker. Pantry needs loads of open shelving. You have to cure your veg like potatoes etc for 2- 3 weeks before you pack them away. Don't put potatoes and onions together. Potatoes rot quicker. The butter/ lard cutter is so not needed - after mixing so it looks like crumble then add liquid, you chill your pastry in the fridge 😊 For your garage, those fibreboards with holes and hooks, or lines and hang your tools up. Sturdy metal shelves and second hand plastic boxes with labels. Cheaper, recycling and useful. 😉

Being from hartville it was the original owners dream to have all of his families business on one chunk of land .. you should have seen it before they moved the hardware store from it’s original location just a big empty field. And the flea market say right by where the sheetz currently is.

The tool to use mixing butter into flour for pie dough is mostly to avoid using the hands because if you use hands the butter will melt wich is not good for pie dough...Jen should know that...
