1:38:41 this is kinda weird, but the hat comment made me think the jellyfish could become a creepy magical parasol that casts darkness or something similar? mixed with the neurotic wood as a handle (in theory helping magically draw on what the creature could do when alive). and putting multiple ingredients into the item could help explain why it could do a magical effect. probably a charge of the darkness spell per day? that sounds cool as hell. or maybe it could allow an opposite effect, passively allowing the wearer to see in magical darkness (or just the dark if that's too op)? it'd probably require attunement and a hand to hold it to use (like rowan's lamp) so i think that could help balance it mechanically (holding it would deprive ophelia and daisy of offhand attacks, and rowan of two handed damage). hell, it could even act as a bludgeoning weapon in a pinch. also jellyfish umbrella is an irresistible vibe. if yall see this comment, please consider using this (even as an item that an npc has, since if one person could think of it i'm sure someone in-world could). on the bludgeoning weapon note, maybe the rock tendril would make rowan a cool magical earth whip to be twinsies with ophelia? idk, just throwin out fun ideas.

I'm convinced theve never seen a high dive or cliff jumping if they think 60 ft is enough to seriously damage the human body. MAYBE enough damage to kill Penelope if she borfed the fall, but not anything more.

I feel like there is one of 2 things going on. Either they forgot or are purposefully not talking underwater so as not to drink the liquid? They (as many) just forget the important stuff when it matters. It irks me but I still love them all the same
