I think the sheer weight of it laying on its side, not floating but on the stone support made it even heavier when being pulled/dragged.

Thank you for the update it’s sad to see people will steal things from the unfortunate disaster. I would hope that work can get underway and be completed before the end of summer. The problem will be getting a slot for repair because work will be almost as much as a complete build. Hopefully there isn’t a big waiting list for work getting underway. 👍👏🤞🙏🚢

It's so upsetting to see a beautiful vessel damaged in such a way. Its even more devastating knowing that people have stolen items from somebody's pride and joy and home. Disgusting people, if you can class them as people.

Man - that looks like a project and a half! And isn't it a sad reflection on society when, on top of this catastrophe to someone's pride and joy, people (I'm trying to use a generic and polite word there) steal things from it. Hey! I live in Barrow and I'm no tea leaf! But it was lying right next to the trailer park where people live in the bread line. Probably people figured it was going to be an insurance write off so there was no harm in getting a few bits that they needed for their own boat
