Great Vlog as ever! Question: Is the Roundel on the Horizal Stern Hatch Royal Air Force? GH and Wiggie. NB Happy days.

Hi Gerry, yes the roundel is the RAF emblem, the previous owner had it done as he was an ex military pilot. We bought the chrome Spitfire as a nod to the previous owner too. Thanks! xx

do you have to do 16 locks in one go?

Hi Julie 😊 Unfortunately, with these locks on the Northampton Arm, you do have to do all 16 in one go, as there are no moorings. Just before the last lock, number 17, there are a few visitor moorings, so we could’ve stopped there, but it made sense to press on a bit more to get fully onto the river and find a better mooring. Thanks! xx

Julie you might find it easyer to put your windlass down and pull it towards you because you just hold on and use you body weight to pull so you do not have to use your muscles to push it away from you. Your vlogs are fine i watch you but do not comment very often. Hope this comment will help Ed 40 S of Vegas
