Good to hear from you again Ian, It was definitely just one of those days, thankfully not usually like that, Denise is a great helmswoman and does most everything else on the boat too as my vision is still not good, I’m only allowed to play in locks. Regards, Brian.

Well .... I have never had so much fun watching a narrowboat blog! and you said "It will be fun" in your intro. Then Denise had to say "What could possibly go wrong?" .... and I'm thinking you are heading towards the bank! ... and sure enough "Crash" .... and then the look on Denise's face! I think (listening to the prop) I would have switched the motor off at this time because it really wasn't sounding too healthy .... and if I had known it was my umbrella then you really should have switched it off but I was pleased to know that you found it and I hope that you didn't damage it too much! .... and if that wasn’t enough you decided to take revenge on a poor boater by trying to sink him! Only seven months ago and it was me with the "L Plates" on .... I have finished with them now if you would like to borrow them?
