Welcome back, Chris! You've been missed. Glad to hear that everything has been going well on the job. Oh, please do chat a bit more about how aluminum is refined from the ore. That's fascinating tidbits of metallurgy that may interest more than myself--understanding how things I normally take for granted are actually made. Or not, if you don't like lecturing people. In any case, good to see you again! --Dan

So super to see you back, you don’t realise how good you are. Mark didn’t find the aluminium boring as he knows all the ins and outs of aluminium cable 😂. We have our boat Chris since your last vlog. In a marina love it and go out when we can as still working, and will CC when we retire next year but as you said will use marinas when needed as there are some great positives. You look great, face totally relaxed and healthy. like us doing the no processed food and I also now started following a weights and yoga lady, after crick we were like oh my gawd we look shattered and gained pounds that were not liked. Whenever I have to take anything apart I put all the bits I take off on masking tape and attach to the main part so they never get lost . If it’s long term storage situation I use a stronger tape, duct or packing for example. Nice to see you back again Chris, you’re saving me from getting sucked into the endless menagerie of political videos that get me with shocking titles. I swear I’m not going to watch them as they are stressful with dire predictions but then another one comes along😂. I’ll be glad when that is over ,😅but now Canadian politics are kicking off and I will have to pay proper attention to that. Enjoy your daughter’s wedding🥰 and your travels ,take care. 🙋🏼♀️

Thanks Jilli. Both weddings were great. Thank you. Good point on the tape. I agree with the political AI vids offering dire predictions. They've all been saying the same thing and using the same AI generated B Roll. I'm slowly stating I don't want to see content from those AI generated vids. AI generated thumbnails wind me up too. They all sensationalise and strangely shape our minds. Keep strong Jilli. All the western world is suffering.

Hi Chris, Welcome back, you are looking well. I will be looing forward to your next vlog as I have the past ones. I have a question for you, as you are a solo boater. "How do you prevent your boat from getting hung up on the sills when you are going down in a lock?". Mark Alberta, Canada
@chrismears-inslowtime4 күн бұрын
Interesting point Mark. I'll do a vid on it. In short: I'm not complacent and I use the centre line to ensure I'm able to control the boat regardless of double or single locks. It's my home and I want to keep it afloat. It is one of the extra things of solo boating.

Hi, firstly, thank you for your service, I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but the mushroom vents are able to be adjusted for warmer/colder weather by reducing their height and also to remove by unscrewing to clean inside I assume. When did you start at RAF Swinderby? I went in ‘83.
@chrismears-inslowtime3 күн бұрын
Hi Carl. I'll look at that in the near future. I've tried twisting the vents but they might just be screwed down a little tight. It'll make life so much easier if I could remove the mushroom. Dec 83.

Thank you all. @Tass. they were odd clips that I strung together to produce a storyline which I think worked. I needed a break from KZbin to relax and not worry about trying to find content. I keep mentioning, I find it quite hard to talk about life on a boat when I travel alone and there are many reasons why I don't travel the network. I will in time. For now, it is what it is. @Jax240jk @cbrown9555 @susanulrich4012 - thank you.

Personally I thoroughly enjoyed the video and was really happy that Chris found time to put one together xx
