Steve I learnt recently that the space between boats moored like those at Wheelock is called a git gap. Very apt. That bridge hole (not lock hole) where you waited looked very nice to me. It did not need to be painted white to be a classic canal bridge. Jeff

I agree Jeff very apt. I also agree about the bridge but it must have looked stunning when it was painted though I quite like it as it is

You wouldn’t park a car like that so why do people on boats seem to think it’s ok? I don’t understand it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Would be so much better for others if they just moved up a bit. Its quite frustrating when boats are moored like that. we have asked if one would move in the past and usually they oblige but occasionally we get told where to go.
