Greetings! I have been away for a while and this is such a great homecoming! Its good to see all three of you flourishing as you are.. you two really are doing some lovely things with the boat and presentation.. the music and the pacing of views and editing of the raw footage... so nice.. a real production and you both look so pleased as well you should! It's nice to come to a peaceful place and i will be back, thank you for this!

It’s a good day when the latest vlog from LIFE onboard AmyJo is ready for viewing. Love the drone footage. Such beautiful scenery. The reeds/grasses that are growing along the canal is pretty, but it makes for single lane sailing. Thanks for sharing your journeys with us.

so hey steve and chris just a question............. why do most boaters like to winter on the Llangolllen canal? just thought I would ask as I follow a few and they all seem to winter on the Llangollen Canal?. so thought I'd ask the question.

Hi Brigid. Because the canal feeds the reservoir at Hurleston there is a constant flow of water which stops it freezing and like us boater prefer not to be frozen in.

I recommend the Montgomery Canal extension if you've got time in the schedule! The basin at Crickheath is a proper hidden gem

Loving the blog, just interested to know what breed is Smudge? He is a gorgeous dog and damn sight more well behaved than our Border Collie who always barks when he sees him!

Hi Sandra and thanks for watching Smudge is a Parsons Jack Russel/Patterdale cross or PatterJack. Mum was the Patterdale. Ih and he is now always well behaved. He does have the odd naughty streak in him 😂
